Flat bar handrail
The flat bar handrail is fabricated from heavy 3/8 inch thick by 1 1/2 inch wide solid steel. Shown here is a curved end which you many want to order on both ends or in a combination with a lamb's tongue. You may also have two lamb's tongues. standard black The second photo shows the square tubing that is welded on the underside of our handrails to give them rigidity and to provide a void into which the bracket screws are attached.

When ordering wall mount handrail, stand at the bottom of the steps looking up to determine on which side the handrail will be mounted.
HANDRAIL INSTALLATION
Find wall studs.
Screw brackets to studs with the heavy screws / bolts /
or concrete anchors provided.
Position the handrail on the studs.
Look underneath and mark where the screw holes are.
Drill a pilot hole where the screw holes will be.
Re-position the handrail on the brackets.
Use the self-drilling, self-tapping screws provided to
attach the handrail to the brackets.
Climb the stairs.
