Square Bar Railing of Wrought Iron

Shown here is a simple railing which was  originally ordered to draw attention to a single step in a bed and breakfast.  Guests had frequently tripped over the step and the owners wanted to draw attention to the fact that there was a step.

The back plates attach to the wall and the forward foot is screwed to the floor and you can see the shoe which then slides down over the floor plate, creating a finished look. 

This handrail design, as all our designs, can be used in short or long railings as well as in stair railings.

Below is a gate fabricated in the square bar railing design.  It was fabricated to fit between two brick columns.
